Learn to Dance with Your Dog - June 19 & 20th


Learn how to freestyle dance with your dog and perform a routine with our Dancing with the Dogs Troupe at pet fairs, expos, children centers and senior homes.

Beginning and Advanced Teams Wanted!

Dancing with the Dogs routines take time and practice. Enroll in a freestyle workshop, offered by Judy Gamet owner of Dogs Can Dance, so you and your dog can learn basic freestyle movements that are used to create a routine with music that fits your dog’s personality.

Registration and Class Descriptions:

Beginning Freestyle Class: $30
Learn basic freestyle moves set to music. Discover how your team is unique and build your own style upon those gifts. Perfect for those with little or no freestyle handling experience.

Experienced Handler’s Class: $30
Refine your handling skills and improve your communication to your dog. Begin developing movement phrases that can be used in a freestyle routine. Useful for those creating a new freestyle routine.

Stepping Out: Preparing for Performance: $45
This workshop will prepare your team for competition, demonstrations, or therapy dog performances. Learn how to develop a strong handler’s mindset, how to rehearse for confidence, and what makes a winning performance.

30 Private Coaching – a few private lessons are available both Saturday evening and Sunday in Canoga Park: $30
